Idealista: Funchal Taking A Massive Lead In Swimming Pools
According to Idealista, Funchal has the highest percentage of apartments for sale with private access to a swimming pool in Portugal, at 43.9%. Apartments With Pool Are 61% More Expensive
However, owning an apartment with a pool comes at a price. On average, apartments with pools in Portugal are 61% more expensive than those without. Évora has the largest price difference, with pool apartments costing 86% more. In Funchal the price difference is only 14.1%, reflecting that many apartments have access to a swimming pool. Furthermore, Idealista also reveals that only 12.1% of apartments listed on their platform and in Portugal include a swimming pool.
