Motorcyclist Dies in Canical
A 26-year-old motorcyclist passed away on Sunday night in Caniçal after a serious accident, according to the Regional Civil Protection Service. The crash took place in the last tunnel between Machico and Caniçal and is currently being investigated by the Public Security Police (PSP). So far, the cause of the accident is unknown. Another motorcyclist, who is believed to have witnessed the accident, received medical assistance and was taken to the emergency unit at Machico Health Center.

Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Rua da Ribeira de João Gomes
A motorcycle crashed this morning on Rua da Ribeira de João Gomes, just after the tunnel. The rider suffered minor injuries and was assisted by a team from the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters. He was later transported to the hospital for further medical care.

Violent Accident in the Area of ​​Campo da Barca
A violent accident occurred this morning on Rua Alferes Veiga Pestana, near the exit of the Cota 40 tunnel in Campo da Barca. The vehicles involved were heavily damaged. A 43-year-old man was taken to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital with an injury on the hand.
