New Direct Flights From Toronto and Boston To Funchal
Beginning June 1, Azores Airlines introduced a direct flight between Toronto, Canada, and Funchal. Continuing this expansion, June 4th saw the launch of direct flights from Boston to Funchal. These routes are anticipated to facilitate more efficient travel for passengers on both sides of the Atlantic, enhancing tourism and business opportunities.
Strategic Growth and Increased Operations
Azores Airlines has increased its regular operations by approximately 26% for the summer of 2024 compared to the same period last year. This expansion includes both domestic and international flights, reflecting the airline's commitment to meeting the growing travel demands. Azores Airlines, part of the SATA group, emphasizes that these new operations are supported by strong demand, suggesting a promising summer travel season that could surpass the figures of 2023.
