Jack Dorsey Will Attend Bitcoin Atlantis
From March 1st to 3rd, Madeira is set to host the inaugural Bitcoin Atlantis conference, organized by the F.R.E.E. Association, a non-profit organization that focuses on fostering adoption and economic education in Madeira and elsewhere. The event will take place in Funchal at the Estádio dos Barreiros, it expects about 5000 participants and more than 100 speakers. Among those, notable figures in the international high-tech realm will attend:

Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, a major data analytics company in America
Jack Mallers, founder and CEO of Strike.
Jeff Booth, General Partner of Ego Death Capital and chairman of various companies in Canada.
Pitch Day For Startups
In addition to the main event, several other activities will run concurrently, with a special focus on a 'pitch day' for new startups targeting global venture capital firms. As part of the conference's leisure offerings, attendees can also enjoy a music festival and a film festival. The event is seen as a significant gathering for both professionals and enthusiasts in the cryptocurrency space.
Residents Get Free Bitcoin And Reduced Ticket Prices
If you wish to participate in Bitcoin Atlantis, you can get your ticket through the Website. Ticket prices start at 42 euros if you are a resident of Madeira. If they can confirm your residency, you will get free Bitcoin worth 21 Euros on your Bolt card (see their FAQs). All other participants are expected to pay 300 euros or 1200 euros if they wish to receive VIP access. If you purchase a ticket for 300 Euro or more, F.R.E.E. Madeira provides a 10% discount.
