Body Found in Advanced State of Decomposition
A puzzling discovery unfolded at Cabo Girão when a decomposed body was found on the beach of Vereda do Cabo Girão. The alert came from a passerby, prompting the intervention of the Police to investigate the mysterious circumstances.
The body, in an advanced state of decomposition, presented challenges in determining the gender. Identifying the individual will require DNA analysis, to be carried out on the mainland.
For now, the body was retrieved and potential evidence from the body and the surrounding area was taken.
No Missing Persons Reported
The discovery raises suspicions, given that no missing persons have been reported in the area. This additional layer of complexity adds intrigue to an investigation that continues to unfold its mysteries.
