Calheta Beach will no longer host bungee jumping, much to the disappointment of extreme sports fans. This popular attraction, which drew many curious spectators and thrill-seekers, is shutting down.
Owner Experienced Pressure And Complaints
Carlos DionĂsio, the owner of 'Bungy Portugal,' the company that operated the bungee jumping at Calheta Beach, confirmed the closure. DionĂsio, who is 53 years old, said he was unsure why he had to close the business. He mentioned that his company had been facing various pressures and complaints lately, which led to his decision to stop the operations.
Crane Set To Be Dismantled
The crane used for the bungee jumps is set to be dismantled this week, marking the end of bungee jumping at Calheta Beach.
