30-Year-Old Man Succumbs To His Injuries
A deadly accident occurred today in the Lugar de Baixo tunnel in Ponta do Sol. The victim, a 30-year-old motorcyclist, did not survive his injuries. It has yet not been revealed what happened or how this tragic accident occurred. The accident caused the tunnel to close, leading to massive traffic jams around the ER222 in both directions.
The man was resuscitated by the Firefighters of Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol and by the Rapid Intervention Medical Team (EMIR) and transported to the Ribeira Brava Health Center, but he did not survive his serious injuries.
