Flights to Connect Luton and Funchal Starting June
EasyJet has announced a new direct flight route between Luton, UK (airport north of London), and Funchal. Scheduled to start operations on June 2, 2025, the flights will depart twice per week, on Mondays and Fridays. The initiative is set to provide passengers with greater convenience and more travel options.

Expansion into Cape Verde Reflects Growing Market Demand
The announcement also comes on the heels of EasyJet's entry into Cape Verde. The airline inaugurated its low-cost route from Lisbon to the island of Sal on October 29, followed by flights from Porto. Starting March 31, 2025, EasyJet will introduce direct flights from Gatwick to Sal, with three weekly services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
