Electric Car Subsidy Plan Set to Roll Out Shortly
The regional director of transport and land mobility, Rui Gonçalves, explained that citizens will soon be able to apply for financial support ranging between €5,000 and €6,000 for purchasing an electric vehicle. The support program is expected to open before the end of the year or early next year.
€8 Million from Recovery and Resilience Plan for Public Transport
Individuals or households with an income up to the sixth income tax bracket (IRS) can receive up to 6,000 euros, while others will receive around 5,000 euros. The Recovery and Resilience Plan allocates millions of approximately 8 million euros for public transportation and charging infrastructure.
