Levada das 25 Fontes Closed For Maintenance
A section of the PR 6 Levada das 25 Fontes (Rabaçal - 25 Fontes) hiking trail will be closed on June 21st for maintenance. An alternative route to the 25 Fontes lagoon on that day is available via the PR 13.1 Vereda da Palha Carga (Louro da Gota – 25 Fontes) trail.
(works are) incompatible with the passage of pedestrians, not providing conditions for passage even in the post-work period.

Starting June 24th, the alternative section of the PR 6 trail will also be closed for two weeks, making the one-way section of Levada das 25 Fontes bidirectional during that time. Visits to the 25 Fontes lagoon will not be affected.
