Madeirans Arrested For Trafficking 2 Kilograms Of Cocaine

A young Portuguese individual from Madeira was arrested in Indonesia for drug trafficking. He was caught carrying two kilograms of cocaine. The arrests took place on Sunday after he left Lisbon on Saturday, March 16th. The drugs were likely transported from Lisbon via Dubai to Jakarta, where he was then intercepted by Indonesian authorities.

Drug trafficking in Indonesia carries severe penalties, including the death penalty. The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the situation and preparing for a prison visit in Jakarta.
