Routine Traffic Check Leads To Arrest

A 33-year-old man from the municipality of Câmara de Lobos was arrested on May 7 for drug trafficking and disobedience. The arrest was made by the local police during a routine traffic check. The man was found driving, despite being prohibited from doing so for 48 hours, due to a previous positive drug test. Upon inspection, he was found in possession of 198 doses of hashish, and a precision scale, leading to charges for both offenses.
