Exercise To Take Place In São Martinho: Residents Advised of Gunshot Sounds
Tomorrow, Tuesday June 4 between 8pm and 11:50pm, a military exercise is scheduled to take place in the RG3 military zone in Funchal. The exercise will include shooting with weapons of different size. If you live around the São Martinho area, expect gunshots to be heard. There is no need to worry though, as this is a scheduled training exercise.
Currently, RG3 is the only military unit in the Madeira Military Zone (ZMM) , being a mixed infantry and artillery regiment . It is responsible for providing general and car driving training to Army soldiers from the Autonomous Region of Madeira and preparing operational units for the ZMM Forces
