Madeira Speaks Up: “It’s A Disgrace“!

As the president of the Madeira Legislative Assembly, José Manuel Rodrigues (CDS-PP), announced the results of the Government program vote, a man in his fifties or sixties stood up and loudly exclaimed three times: "It’s a disgrace." A democracy led for 48 years by the same party, whose leadership is entangled in unresolved corruption claims, is being voted back into power. A truly democratic society is demanding accountability.
