Over 13,500 Cruise Ship Passengers Visited Funchal Today

Today, Funchal once again hosted an impressive number of over 13,500 passengers from three different cruise ships.

Funchal Hosting Thousands of People Yet Again

Today, Funchal welcomed over 13,500 visitors arriving on three distinct cruise ships: AIDAcosma, Azura, and Balmoral. The AIDAcosma and Azura are notable participants in maritime travel, operating within the atlantic.

AIDAcosma

On its recent voyage from La Palma, the AIDAcosma carried a whopping 6,426 passengers and 1,409 crew members. After having stopped in Funchal, it is scheduled to depart for Tenerife at 11pm in the evening.

Azura

Meanwhile, the Azura embarked on a 7-night cruise starting on February 2nd, featuring stops in Tenerife, Funchal, La Palma, and Fuerteventura. With a complement of 2,992 passengers and 1,148 crew members.

Balmoral

The Balmoral from Southhampton is the smallest of the three ships and hosts 1,099 passengers and 553 crew members. Departing for La Palma at 8 pm, its 13-night cruise encompasses a journey through Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Lisbon, and ultimately concludes in Southampton on February 14th.
