Annual Festa Do Cinema Bring You Movies At €3,50
The annual Festa do Cinema in Portugal is making history this year by featuring its first-ever film from Madeira. The festival starts today and runs until Wednesday the 15th. During this time, discounted tickets of only €3,50 to over 40 movies, including the Madeiran production titled "MÃE."
MÃE, A Movie From Madeira
MÃE (Mother) directed by João Brás, tells a story about love, facing dementia, and the challenges of aging. Filmed in Madeira with a local cast, the movie captures the island's beauty and its people. MÃE will be shown at Forum Madeira and Madeira Shopping throughout the festival.
Celebrate & Promote Portuguese Cinema
Organized by the Portuguese Association of Cinematographic Companies (APEC), this festival aims to celebrate and promote Portuguese cinema, including films from different regions. The inclusion of "MÃE" is a big step for showcasing the variety and talent found within Portugal's film industry.
