In a press briefing held on the sixth day of the ongoing wildfire, Pedro Ramos emphasized that Albuquerque, despite being on vacation, remains closely involved in monitoring the situation. The president’s return to Porto Santo after his brief stay in Madeira has not impacted his oversight of the crisis, Ramos assured.
Pedro Ramos did not deny that Miguel Albuquerque had returned to the neighboring island where he is vacationing. He made a point of assuring that even while on break, the head of the government continues to monitor the evolution of the fire on the island of Madeira.
