Ronaldo Signs New Contract At Age 39
According to the Saudi media outlet Al Khabar, the former Real Madrid star is set to earn over €200 million per season under a new deal that will keep him at Al Nassr until at least 2026. This means the Portuguese forward would finish his contract at the age of 42. Breaking down the figures, this amounts to €4 million per week and just over €500,000 per day.
Ronaldo is Scoring But Struggling to Be Successful With Al Nassr
Since joining Al Nassr, Ronaldo has made 90 appearances across three seasons, scoring 81 goals and providing 18 assists. However, his success has been limited on the collective front. He has won the Arab Club Championship but suffered two final defeats to Al Hilal—one in the Cup and one in the Super Cup. In the league, Al Nassr has struggled to keep pace with Al Ittihad and Al Hilal, who are both leading with 37 points, leaving Ronaldo's side nine points behind in the standings.
