Construction for Funchal Marina (Marina do Funchal) is progressing and the construction site is in full swing. The project investment amounts to approximately five million euros, with a gross construction area of ​​around 2,800 m2. Upon completion, the facility will feature 34 spaces, categorized as follows:

3 bars
1 minimarket

6 facility rooms
1 area for authorities (GNR)

Will it be Ready by The End of September?
Construction which started in the beginning of 2023 is scheduled to be completed by September 2024. Development however is certainly a race against time and seeing recent images posted by Funchal Noticias could indicate that construction work might take a little longer than expected. No official statement has been released in this regard.
