The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has issued a yellow warning for the entire Madeira archipelago due to forecast high temperatures. The alert, which will be in effect from Saturday (20th) to Monday (22nd), warns of "persistent high maximum temperature values" during this period. The population is advised to take precautions, such as avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun and staying hydrated.
